Basic Page Editing

The editing interface is divided up into several tabs. Most of the time, you’ll only need to worry about the Basic and Menu Settings tabs on your pages. Every page should have the following:

  • Title
  • Body
  • Menu Item

Optionally, pages can also have:

  • Representative Image
  • Accordion Content
  • Slideshow
  • Embedded Video

Basic Tab

The Basic tab contains the fields you most commonly need.


  • Should be descriptive, and shouldn’t need to change frequently
  • The title is used to create the URL for your page. It becomes lowercase, spaces are changed into dashes, and small words like “or” and “to” are dropped.

Note: When you change the title of your page, it will also change the URL. To override this behavior, go to the URL Path Settings tab, and uncheck the box labeled “Generate Automatic URL Alias”.

  • Appears at the top of each page as an orange H1 header
  • Used in Homepage Slideshow and Homepage Promotions


  • A subheader, short blurb, description, or quote relevant to the page
  • Does not appear on the page by default
  • Used in Homepage Slideshow and Homepage Promotions

Representative Image

  • A high-resolution (1280x720) image that represents the content of your page
  • Appears at the top of your page, either above or below (default) the Title
  • Used in Homepage Slideshow and Homepage Promotions


  • The main content area of your page
  • Headings - The Format box allows you to change the font size and color for Headings. Always start with H2, and only use H3 if you need subheadings.
  • Styles - The Styles box allows you to change the background color on important paragraphs. The three options are Notification (blue, with information icon), Alert (yellow, with warning triangle icon), and Critical (red). The styles are used to make important text stand out.
